At My Umbrella®, our story begins on a typical London day - rainy, windy, and grey. Our founder, Jonh McTerry, a London native, was returning from an important meeting, his suit soaked and his umbrella turned inside out by a sudden gust. Frustrated by yet another poor-quality umbrella, Jonh made a promise to himself: to create the perfect umbrella that would withstand the caprices of British weather.

A Quest for Excellence

Driven by this vision, Jonh embarked on a passionate quest. He travelled across the UK and Europe, from artisanal workshops to cutting-edge laboratories, in search of the best materials and most innovative manufacturing techniques.

After months of rigorous testing in the most extreme conditions - from London's driving rain to Edinburgh's violent winds - Jonh and his team finally designed a revolutionary umbrella. Their creation surpassed all expectations, withstanding the fiercest weather.
